For nichy magazines that are also free, you can try ISSUU.com. It's also free with no registration.
Why magazines? It shows trends. Tells you what' the latest in niches you know nothing about.
Try it. And never buy a magazine any more!! Well that's not true though, because you'll still need to read something when you're not online. A magazine can help you.
