3. Now Let's continue yesterday's 5 Keys To Starting and Sustaining Your Online Income Success:
1. Mastery of Marketing
2. Constant use of Visualizing Reminders
3. Dedication to Lifelong Learning
4. The Emotional Push
5. Living out your Passion
Now we're talking #2
2. Constant use of Visualizing Reminders
If you've ever been to a "networking" or MLM company, you know all about Dream Boards (mine's on a glass and wooden frame), Dream Books (Clearbooks with cut outs of photos), Dream Wallpapers (Lazy people putting dreams on their computer wallpaper), 100 goal lists and the famous things to do (places to visit) before you die.
If you have these, great. Now it's time to make even more. Read the book "Prayer of Jabez (25 pages only!)" to understand that maybe in heaven there's an endless storehouse of cars, children, gadgets, friends, vacations available to you. When you get there, you wonder "How come I didn't experience these?". The answer is because you didn't ask! Dreamboards etc are a way of asking and reminding your self - conscious or unconscious - that this is what you want.
What you want also changes through time, so you need to create even more of these reminders.
You must also add celebration to your life. If you reach a goal, even a simple goal like finally having two pairs of black shoes to wear to the office - where before you had only one - and you had to make sure it's unusable before you got a new one -you need to celebrate. You need to get into the habit of celebration. This way everything about you will look forward to reaching goals.
A very obvious and powerful way of doing it is following T Harv Ecker's "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" play account. This is a % of money you set aside per month (one for you, one for spouse, even if he's not earning anything) and you have fun with the money. It's tougher than it sounds because you need to spend it to reward yourself before the month is over. No saving up for that KORG synthesizer that's worth more than the % you've set aside - and my rule is no repeat celebrations.
