How to Use Technology In Times of Crisis (Floods, Habagat, Fires...) 1 Hour Tutorial

Here's my take on the pork thing. Oo ngayon excited tayo (actually : not me) but the best way to fix this really is to fix me lang. Myself lang.

Just create an ability to create jobs and income for others instead of asking for jobs from others.

This thing --pork and rallies -- how long can you keep this up? Next year? are you still there in the rallies? Or uso lang?

Or are you going to fix yourself to become an independent (to an extent) creator of jobs/wealth for others?

Kasi if you do that, then next year - everyone around you will be better off. And next next year - even better for everyone around you.

Rallies accomplish stuff of course but IKAW -- do you get transformed enough to do the RIGHT thing in your life because of rallying? If not, bakit pa if walang personal transformation? Oh certainly go attend the rallies, it's fun and makes you feel something great ...and yeah continue to do that UNTIL you self transform. Tama naman.

Pero di lang naman sa rally ka pwede mag self-transform from employee to entreprenuer mindset. You don't need a national event to make yourself into a better person. Do you?

Yeah, it's not about pork, in the end, it's about you.

(feel free to argue whatevs)

Sharing also some feedback too from you guys, please feel free to add.

The Top 50 Fastest Growing Online Jobs for Q2 2013

Lord Alcomendras and Darlin Tenoso, VIP Seat winners, enjoying the front seat view of the VA Seminar!

There are 3 ways to spot the winners in a Jomar Hilario Virtual Assistant Seminar:

1. You can spot the winners sitting in the front row seats

Imagine this scenario:

You are attending an event and you arrived 30 minutes early. You registered, got your materials and you are now proceeding to the function room.

Inside the function room, you see several rows of empty seats.

Where do you normally seat?

Do you head towards the last few rows? middle rows? or front rows?

Are you like the average Pinoy who would quietly grab a seat in the middle or last row seats of the venue. They would happily settle in those seats and take comfort in thinking that they got the “best seats” in the house and settle with the thought that they are in the company of the majority.

For winners, the best seats in the house are the FRONT SEATS! Winners head straight to the front row. Why?

They want to enjoy the unobstructed view.

They want to directly absorb the energy of the speaker.

They want to be completely focused on the lessons that they will learn. They want to be with winners like them!

Teacher Salve Baloloy enjoying the lessons from the front seat. She also enjoyed another bonus: a one on one interview with the 2 Project Managers of Jomar: Nikki Hidalgo and Jasmine Roces

2. You can spot the winners by asking them where they came from before the seminar
You cannot help but admire people who had to travel the distance just to be able to attend an event or a seminar.

n the last VA Seminar, we met Lord Alcomendras who took an early flight from Escalante City, Negros Occidental just to attend the seminar.

In the last VA Seminar, we met Lord Alcomendras who took an early flight from Escalante City, Negros Occidental just to attend the seminar.

Another clap clap clap goes to Dyan Domingo who travelled all the way from Tuguegarao City, Cagayan Valley.

Remember these names: Lord Alcomendras and Dyan Domingo they are future success stories of the VA seminar.

Our VA Sharer also woke up early and boarded the bus going to Manila, while everyone were still hugging their beds. Ana Margarita Olar came from Bataan and was at Rosewood Pointe
before 8AM. She came armed with her presentation and inspiring story.

I bet you that you didn’t know these 2 pains of Ana: 1. She graduated Top of her Nursing class

2. She was a victim of illegal recruitment TWICE

Now she is working as a fulltime VA and enjoying every moment of it!

It all started with a one on one consultation with Jomar. Ana was still an OFW Nurse in Saudi then doing the online consultation in a bathroom. Now finally meeting her mentor and sharing her story during the VA Seminar as a fulltime VA!

3. You can spot the winners when you ask them how many times they have attended the seminar.

Winners seek to continuously review and educate themselves.

I hope you got the chance to meet and ask our winners Ladrick Malulan and Nath Reyes about their secrets of winning in Jomar’s contests.

Ladrick is the Grand Prize winner of the Jomar Hilario YouTube Contest. He won a premium seat to the live VA Seminar. Ladrick attended the VA seminar last year.

Nath is the Grand Prize winner of the Jomar Hilario OMC3 Passion Contest. He won a FREE membership to the online mentoring club of Jomar. Take a peek at this club here: http://jhilario.com/onlinementoring3

JR Kuizon attended the VA seminar before and he was back this time still wearing his uniform. Jr, papasok ka pa ba sa class mo or kalalabas mo lang sa class when you attended the VA seminar?

Joyce Villarisco (right side) attends again the VA Seminar after one year! Joyce was the youngest earning VA graduate of Jomar. She was banned from Odesk because of her age but her gigs continue to flow!

So, how do you spot the winners in a Jomar Hilario VA Seminar event?

You will find them sitting at the front row and they travel the distance just to learn.

Moral of the Story:

Winners travel the distance to learn
Winners like to be with likeminded people.
Winners take the front seat to be in control with their lives.

Live marvellously!

How To Spot The Winners In Jomar Hilario’s Virtual Assistant Seminar

June of 2010, I dreamt of working from home. In my desire, springing from a conversation with my son way one morning , I searched the net for opportunities to work from home. I stumbled upon one option and then come Oct 2010, I received an email saying, Jomar Hilario is offering a seminar entitled, "how to work from home as a Virtual Assistant". I met Jomar through Bo Sanchez' endorsed seminar (no need to mention w/c one). I signed up immediately and attended the VA seminar, I filed for a leave from work for that day.

Though, I was not able to pursue it immediately, given that before that seminar, we have invested in a foodcart business, which, as some of you might know by now, did not prosper for many reasons (our first failure in business).

I went on to work until Nov 2012. I attended the VA seminar last March 2012, just to refresh myself and to (finally) pursue it. Again, I was not able to do something about it due to the demands of my schedule and other activities I am involved in. Then come April, the new work was hectic then as I'm able to go home at 7 or 8pm even work starts at 7:30am (discounting the fact that I allot time for travel to and from office). I even had a dialogue with Jomar before the March 2012 seminar started and he said, probably, ayaw ko maging VA kaya di pa ako VA. I knew though, in my heart, na gusto ko but I considered his question pa rin. :)

Then lately, Jomar and I have been given the chance to speak with him and his wife on separate occasions, and shared how I haven't been a VA yet, except for a one-time project-based client from Odesk. Jomar, the last time I saw him, last month, said, "huwag ka nang mag-VA pag wala sa puso mo". I told him, gusto ko naman. :)

Then lo and behold, an opportunity came up some weeks ago. Someone endorsed me to a client looking for a VA, alongside other applicants. The client made interviews and then scheduled me for another interview, after which she told me she is hiring me. I was surprised and so thrilled then as I was not very hopeful that I would get the gig given that this is my first gig, if ever. I have no experience to show, but just my qualifications in terms of corporate work and education. We all know, though, that that doesn't matter much in the virtual world.

So as of this writing, I am officially starting my VA stint starting next week, part time for a week while training, then full time by Sept.

Let me say a few things, friends, things I learned along the way in this quite a "long" journey.

- wanting to be a VA or to work from home is the first step.

- next, do something about it by investing in yourself. Do self-study or improve on your craft. The best way to sell yourself/ourselves is by building up on what we have. Making ourselves better and "saleable"

It would help and would be better if you attend or avail of the VA seminar if you haven't attended or downloaded. (You may download the VA seminar version here while there are no live seminars yet - http://tinyurl.com/lsqrfg3. Why the downloadable version? because you might not want or could not wait for the next live seminar to happen before you make a change in your life by  learning how to work from home!)

- thirdly, do as required in the VA seminar. No if's nor but's. Don't, as much as possible, wait for 2.5 yrs like I did, in order for this to happen. Take it as a "pressure" or motivation from yourself, that this is for you and your loved ones that's why you're doing it.

- fourth, be connected to the group that Jomar has, or even other VA groups to learn and be better.

- fifth, do not quit your main source of income yet, until you have an emergency fund to last you 2 months and up, though, one can get a gig in 2 months or so. Just in case, it takes you a little longer than others did.

- sixth, in all these, look at your self- your plans, desires, goals in life and values. Look with God alongside, go through it with Him, all the works and struggles, for in the end, it is He who makes things happen. We do our part, He does the rest for us.

I would like to end this sharing/story by encouraging those who are still thinking or wondering if it is possible.

It is possible and you, too, can do it. You just have to pray, believe and act on it.

All the best, everyone!

And for the record... Thank you, Jomar, for sharing this opportunity to work from home with us through the seminars, FB group, and webinars. I know that you have been commissioned to help others through this way and that all of this is part of God's perfect plan to save creation and bring people closer and more available for their loved ones. Thanks for saying yes to that call, God bless us all, always."
